Spacer dividers are an auxiliary structure used to separate content within a container or section of a package. The dividers are inserted into the container and secured by a strap or adhesive.Dividers are available in a variety of forms and can be configured to fit different application needs. They can be plain or decorated with icons, text, or images. A dividing divider can be set to align either left or right.
In a traditional approach, a dividing spacer is a set of straight strips that are joined at the intersection points. This approach is commonly used to separate glass jars.Another dividing structure is a D-cut divider. It is a sheet that pivots about a series of spaced-apart straight base-lines. When the sheet is turned up, the D-cut engages the base of the container and projects from the outer surfaces. In a modified divider embodiment, the D-cut is reinforced by end flaps. Also, it is held in place by laterally extending cut flares.Other dividers may be secured to the package walls by encircling straps. These encircling straps may be secured to the container walls through penetrating recesses.
A spacer may be a piece of metal, plastic, or elastic. Some may be dishwasher safe. Others may be glued into place. Some dividers feature rubber valves. These spacers should be cleaned regularly. If they become stiff, they should be replaced. Clean them with warm water and washing-up liquid. Avoid hot or boiling water.
